Atlas for Returning // Timișoara Sensory Theatre (Romania)
Timișoara Sensory Theatre (Romania)
After ten years of war, Odysseus, the hero of Troy, returns home. But victory feels empty. And the road back is the longest journey he has ever taken. Now he must live with the memories of what he left behind. What does it mean to be a hero? A killer? A human being? “Atlas for Returning” awaits you at FABER — an adaptation of Homer’s Odyssey, created in the style of laboratory theatre, at the intersection of classical theatre, performance art, and sensory theatre. Ancient Greece, gods, monsters, the sea — you will come face to face with all of them in a performance about fear, desire, jealousy, and a journey into the legendary world of ancient Greece. A story about transformation and becoming.
