The Jew

Five people each with a different age, background and level of intelligence (a school director, a Polish- and English teacher, a gym teacher and a catholic priest) are facing the past – for the sake of a future – between the well known sets of a teacher‘s office. The time spent together reflects on all the aspects of the situations that ultimately lead to this moment. It’s time to take a stand, but something else happens instead. Nobody wants to be the victim…

The play of the polish Arthur Palyga challenges his own nation to face their historical past and to deal with it.

The question is, where are we so far on this road?
