Banquet

The performance “The Banquet” is similar to a folk novel, constructed on multiples layers, like a fairytale with exaggerated characters and archetypes. Surrealist. Dream. It is the same as everyday life, where everybody is somebody’s partner or ally, hustler, enemy, friend, foe, lover or adversary. Everyone is either a leader or a soldier, prostitute or police inspector, worker peasant, intellectual, artist-know-it-all, peddler... Do they gather for dinner or alms? These are the characters of a near past, but also near future.

This is the knot which ties South, North, East and West, stories, myths, reality.
