Brecht – The hardcore machine
The performance is not a play. The postdramatic theatre is a consequence of the literary drama. Brecht – The hardcore machine is a story about a young girl who, before painting her nails, picks up a worker glove, and in that moment she steps into the fascinating world of ideology and carnality. During the rehearsal period the actor exists only as a body. The body moves. Movement is an action. Physical action evokes dramatic, historical contents. This is when the dramatical actor comes on stage, executes, performs.
